Struggles...

The USA gymnastics team had a few struggles last night. Well, Alicia Sacramone had a few struggles last night. Rough night for her...a fall on both beam and floor. You could tell she felt horrible, but I don't think the USA had a snowball's chance in hell to beat the Chinese last night. They were phenomenal! Still...a silver medal for the USA is not too shabby. Now I have to look forward to the all around tomorrow night. I think it will be between Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson. I LOVE Nastia's gymnastics, but Shawn is fun to watch and always so consistent. Oh...the drama!

I haven't been able to scrapbook much due to my numb and swollen fingers, so my posts will be limited for a while as to what's going on in my life right now. I have had a week off of work and haven't done much but keep my feet up. (I told my husband he is going to have to deal with a messy house for the next 3 months!)

I went to my cousin Dane's wedding luncheon today. My dad was laughing at me because I was hot, cranky, swollen and ready for it to snow. He said that was definitely not like the "normal" me. He's right...but I honestly wouldn't care at all if there were 4 feet of snow on the ground tomorrow. Oh well. The things we suffer through to have a baby, right?
