I want to wish everyone a happy new year! I haven't posted since Christmas, but with good reason. I went back to work the day after Christmas. I was really anxious about it, seeing as how I had been off for 4 months, but my first few shifts back were actually really nice shifts. It reminded me that I love what I do. Anyway, working 4 out of 5 nights, shuffling my daughter to my mom's house and back so she could babysit for a few days, a birthday/New Year's party at my house and trying to clean up the Christmas mess has left me very busy over the past week and a half!
On Saturday I took Anna up to Coalville for Briana's daughter's birthday. Happy 4th birthday, Maizy! I still remember the day you were born...seems like yesterday to me.

Maizy wanted a pool party, so Briana rented the Coalville pool and we all went swimming. Yes...even the babies! There were quite a few people there. Briana and Casey had most of their extended family there. Mandy and Hayden brought Evelynn (all decked out in a cute swimsuit, robe, and slippers).

Cindy brought Campbell and Max. Campbell is quite the little swimmer!

Anna doesn't love her baths, so I didn't know how she would do in the pool. She really didn't mind the water at first. I tried to put her in a floaty thing, but she liked it better when I was holding her, so we just snuggled and enjoyed the warm pool.

I even got brave and dunked her once. Mandy caught her expression on camera right after she came up, but she calmed quickly and didn't seem to mind much.

All was going well until a beach ball came out of nowhere and hit Anna in the side of the head. I don't think it hurt her, but it splashed her in the face and it sure scared her. She was done swimming after that. She was instantly happy with her towel wrapped around her.

I hope everyone has a fantastic 2009! Thanks for visiting!
