Last Sunday, my dad's brother Jeff and his wife Jeanette were in a terrible motorcycle accident near Durango, Colorado. Jeff escaped any physical injury, but Jeanette was life-flighted to an ICU just outside of Denver. She has been heavily sedated with swelling on her brain, multiple broken ribs, a broken collarbone, and some lung injury. She is a fighter and is doing a bit better each and every day, but she will have a long road to recovery. Jeff has been by her side since it happened, and who knows when they will both be able to return to Utah. I know first hand how quickly medical expenses add up. It is crazy how quickly lives can be turned upside down. You & I see this on a daily basis. I wish your uncle & his family the best of luck and hope Jeanette recovers FULLY.
