Easter

Easter weekend was so much fun this year! We colored eggs on Saturday, or at least attempted to color eggs. Anna was really more interested in organizing the color jars.
Anna was a little obstinate since she didn't get a nap in that day. She wanted to do it her way, and she would take no suggestions from any of us.
Organizing the eggs into two different baskets. She quickly treasured the real eggs and tossed the plastic ones on the floor.
The next morning, Anna woke up to the display that the Easter bunny left. Trav and I had a good laugh as she exclaimed "Look what Easter bought for me!"
Daddy (and the dogs) looking so amused to be up early on Easter morning.
When I was little, the Easter Bunny would leave small piles of jelly beans hidden around the front room of our house. My brothers and I always had so much fun trying to find all of them. This year, the Easter Bunny carried that tradition on at our house. Once Anna caught on that there were multiple piles of jelly beans hidden, she had a blast running around the room trying to find them. The Easter Bunny will have to work harder next year to find better hiding places...Anna had them all found and in her basket in no time flat!
All dressed up in her Easter dress, getting ready to go to Grandma and Papa's house for "brunch", which happened to be at 1:00 pm.
This is the Easter hat that Anna found for herself at Target. The first hat that she has loved and will keep on, so I had to buy it.
The back of her hair for Easter. Surprising, she sat very still for this updo...it only took a few jelly beans of bribery. ;-)
Grandma's house was like Christmas all over again. The Easter bunny left Anna a great big toy barn and a few new animals to leave at Grandma's house, as well as a plastic bowling set. Grandma Joyce had an Easter egg hunt all set up in her backyard. Grandma, Papa, Tracie, Kelly, Trav and I all watched as this little munchkin raced around the backyard gathering eggs as fast as she could.
Girl on a mission...
It took two baskets to hold all of the eggs that Anna found!
She will be excellent at hide and seek...this girl found all of the eggs on her own!
Posing with all of her Easter treasures. My girl is growing right up!

Anna discovering what Easter "bought" her...
