Hanging in there...

Sorry I haven't posted for a few days. It has been crazy around here! My mom stayed with me for the first few days that Anna was home, and we got so much accomplished. We moved furniture around, cleaned out 2 rooms and a closet, had carpet installed in Anna's room, went to pick up the nursery furniture in Orem, and set up the nursery furniture, all before Trav got home Friday night. In addition to all of that, I had to prepare for Mandy's baby shower that I was hosting today. Needless to say, I am looking forward to this week when I really have no big plans. Also, Trav has this whole week off to spend with me and the baby!

Here is the nursery furniture that we got for Anna's room. Now I just need crib bedding. Here is the first picture of Anna and her daddy together. He hates pictures, but I didn't let him get out of this one. He held Anna for about 3 hours last night while I finished up things for the baby shower. He even got her out of the cradle by himself! He seems to be fascinated by the little things...the sounds she makes, the fact that she will grasp his finger, etc.Check out all of the "babies" on Trav's lap...he said "Can I have any more critters on me??"This is my dad Mike holding his granddaughter for the first time. He was scared of her in the NICU, but not now!Anna's first bath at home...I don't think she was thrilled with the idea, but man was she cute!Anna is doing great at home. She is fairly mellow, only crying when she truly needs something. She wakes up about every three hours on the dot at night for a feeding, but so far has fallen back to sleep quickly. Her first visit with the pediatrician went very well. She is up to 4 lb 12 oz!! Her doctor had the comment of the day. He opened up the blanket to listen to her, and he just smiled and said "You are cool lookin...you're dinky!"

She is so adorable! Even though you don't want them to be born so small, I think she is so dang cute so small. I am very facinated by how small she is too! I just want to hold her. I LOVE her name too, it is such a cute little girlie name! You are great parents, she is soooo lucky to have such a wonderful mommy! I am so happy things have gone so well for you guys! You sound way too busy though! Don't forget to rest sometimes!
