1 week old!

Happy one week birthday, Anna! I can't believe how time flies. She is doing great! Her IV came out the other night, and after 2 unsuccessful attempts, her nurse asked if they could leave the IV out and just increase her feedings a little. The nurse practitioner agreed, so Anna has been without an IV for the last 2 days. So lovely to not have an IV to worry about! They also increased her formula to 22 calorie per ounce. She has thrown up a few times, but mostly she does well with the feeds. She has been taking a bottle or breastfeeding when she is alert and ready to eat, but otherwise they have been giving her the formula via tube. She is mostly asleep during the day...and awake at 3:00 am every morning. Of course! She was the same in utero...
