Girls' night out

Last Friday my friends and I got together at Cindy's house for a girls' night out, stamping and scrapping away. I demonstrated 3 Stampin' Up projects for the first 2 hours and then we all brought cards and/or scrapbook projects of our own to work on. We were at Cindy's until midnight (thanks, Cind, for the hospitality!!). I haven't scrapbooked FOREVER...and it felt great to do what I love! Here are the projects that I demonstrated:

This is a birthday card using the sticky cuts letter "h" with chunky glitter over the top. I also used the Flower Fusion felt flowers layered with a blue brad. Colors: old olive, bashful blue, and pumpkin pie, white.
I love this card!! I thought it would be cute for a birthday, a baby, or just about anyone. The background is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and then I brayered chocolate chip ink over the top. Colors: chocolate chip, so saffron, white.
This is the 6x6 layout I did. I have missed doing 6x6 pages, but I think I will be doing more for when for the baby when she comes. They are so easy to put together...not as overwhelming as a 12x12 page can be sometimes. I used the Summer Picnic paper from the mini catalog. Colors: certainly celery, real red, bashful blue, white.
In the next post I will give you a peak at what I made when we started our scrapbook session...
