A little bit of crafting time...

So after a few crazy weeks at work between very sick patients and extra shifts and day shift meetings/classes, I finally had a moment to spend in my scrapbook room (before I go back to work tonight, of course!). My friend from work needed 10 birthday cards for a swap, so I was able to finish those today. I got the color inspiration from a card on SCS, and I am happy with how it turned out. The picture didn't turn out that great...I need to take a photography class so that I can take fabulous pictures...

Happy Birthday Card
stamps: It's your birthday, Priceless
ink: always artichoke craft ink
paper: groovy guava, blush blossom, and always artichoke, plus groovy guava DP
accessories: non-SU ribbon, punches

Also, I finally finished my card box. Here is the finished product, using Dashing DP, real red and old olive cardstock. My fave colors!!!

I won't be posting for a while, since my parents are taking the fam on a cruise to Southern California/Mexico next week. I will be working tonight, will watch the Ute gymnasts compete tomorrow, and then will probably spend the weekend packing/prepping for the trip. I'm so excited!! Have a great week!

I love your scrapbooking stuff. You are so creative. I don't have that much patience or talent. Hope things are going well up there. Glad we don't have to be a part of the scene at Primary's. Hopefully it stays that way til his next surgery in May. Talk to ya soon!
