So we went to the Cheesecake Factory at 3:00 in the afternoon...on a Sunday...and they said that there would be a "chance" that we would be seated in, oh, 2 1/2 or 3 hours. What in the hell happened to all of the Mormons who are supposed to keep the sabbath day holy? Apparently church was held at the Cheesecake Factory today...whatever.
We ended up going to Olive Garden across the parking lot instead. Good food, good friends, cute baby boy, crappy service (which meant free dessert - all's well that ends well, right?). It was still fun to see everyone. I guess I will still have to plan a trip out of Utah to dine at my favorite restaurant...at least for the next 5 years or until Utahns find something more exciting to occupy their time.
