I finally finished my Christmas cards and got them sent out a few days ago, so I can post the final version here. I was happy with how they turned out, even though the knot in the ribbon cost me $0.58 per card in postage (damn post office regulations...most of my homemade cards have embellishments which means extra postage).
Stamps used: Season of Joy
Ink and cardstock colors: always artichoke, purely pomegranate, shimmery white
Ribbon: SU purely pomegranate satin ribbon
I also met with my close friends to exchange gifts today. Wow...I got some cute stuff! Here are some pics of the gifts that I made for my friends. This is why I haven't posted for a while...now that they have their gifts, I can post pictures! I decorated a Stampin' Up Forget-me-not keeper for each of them using DP, ribbon and cardstock. (If you would like more information on how to decorate these or the dimensions to cut the paper, comment and I will let you know.) They were time consuming, but worth it. I love how they turned out!
Briana's: wild wasabi, purely pomegranate, so saffron
Mandy's: lovely lilac, regal rose, certainly celery
Brianna's: wild wasabi, ruby red, groovy guava
Cindy's: chocolate chip, bashful blue, barely banana
Wahoo! Now I have to finish up a few more for the friends who weren't here today...hopefully they aren't reading this!
