Anna was thrilled for Easter this year. Every morning she would wake up asking "Is it Easter Time today?"
She loved coloring eggs. We colored 18 eggs for our little family, but I think she could have easily colored about 5 dozen.
Perfecting the art of dropping the eggs into the color...she still doesn't like her hands getting "dirty".
A cheesy 3-year-old smile
Um...the Easter bunny found our house. I think he brought Santa as his accomplice. ;-)
I love Anna's precious face as she sees that the Easter bunny came.
As a child, the Easter bunny always left small collections of jelly beans hidden throughout our front room. My brothers and I would grab our Easter baskets and race through the front room to find those jelly beans. The Easter bunny has continued that tradition at our house.
Anna looking for more jelly beans
Anna left a few carrots out for the Easter Bunny. We found the remaining carrots with a note the next morning. (Side note: We watched the movie "Hop" later that night, where we learned that the Easter Bunny poops jelly beans. Makes this plate a little bit more entertaining.)

That afternoon we headed out to my in-laws for a barbecue and an Easter egg hunt.

Each time Anna found an egg, she would stop to inspect it, shake it and listen to see if she could guess what was inside. She was taking her dear sweet time finding all of the eggs. I think this is when Trav's sister suggested "She needs competition. She needs a sibling!"
Trying to decide which color egg is her favorite.
Spoiled much? This is what was waiting for Anna at the end of Grandma's Easter egg hunt.
Trav spent the rest of the afternoon putting together the 1000 piece puzzle of Anna's new play kitchen.
Stopping to smell the daffodils...I love this picture! Anna is so in love with flowers, although she usually wants to pick them.
Hanging out with Grandma Joyce enjoying the beautiful Easter Sunday
Posing with all of her new fun stuff...a magna doodle, a new stuffed bunny, a summer outfit...
...Winnie the Pooh movie, a new scooter, and plenty of candy.
Finally! I got a normal smile and a cute pose from my little one.
I know I am biased, but isn't she adorable??
