My Little 3 year old!

How did this happen? How on earth has 3 years passed since this tiny little 4 pound peanut changed my whole world? It seems like yesterday...but at the same time, I can't even imagine my life without her in it. Happy birthday to my spunky, sweet little Anna Kate!

We had her appointment with Dr. Jeff yesterday and received a clean bill of health. She is in the 19th percentile for height at 35.5 inches, and roughly the 15th percentile for weight at 27.5 pounds. I say "roughly" because the weight that they got at Dr. Jeff's was so wrong. My stubborn child decided refused to stand on the scale, so we had to weigh mom+Anna and then subtract mom. The medical assistant came up with 35 pounds, which put Anna in the 85th percentile for weight. When they gave me my growth chart, Dr. Jeff looked so confused and concerned that her weight had jumped from the 10th percentile to the 85th...then he actually looked at Anna and said that there was no way that could be right. He told me to weigh her at home...she was 27.5 pounds with all of her clothes on. Pretty sure she is fine! Although she was very stubborn with the M.A., Anna was super compliant with Dr. Jeff as he examined her. She even said to me after he left the room, "Mommy, Dr. Jeff is a nice doctor." She has a little tiny umbilical hernia that is slightly difficult to reduce, but he said just to watch it for a year or so. Everything looks great!

The day after Anna's birthday, these cute birthday questionnaires were posted on LeeLou blogs. The idea is to ask these questions to your child each year on their birthday and document their answers as a memory of what they were like at each age. The timing was perfect, as this is the first year that Anna could really participate in the questions. I love this idea! I just opened the downloaded questionnaire in Photoshop and added her answers and a photo. Here are the answers that I got from Anna (click on the photo to enlarge)...
Stay tuned for pictures of Anna's My Little Pony birthday party...
