Happy Father's Day, Trav! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to have this wonderful little family. 

I love the father you are becoming to Anna. Yes, I will admit that it took a little while. I knew it would. You were scared to death (even if you wouldn't admit it) of this tiny little peanut that came into our lives. You weren't always so much a fan of the baby phase of Anna's life, but you have always loved her and you have always been fiercely protective of her. Now she is growing into a little person that walks and talks and carries on full conversations with you, and I can see you bonding more and more each day. She looks forward to you coming home from work every day, and she is devastated each morning if she misses the opportunity to give you a hug before you leave for work. Anna's favorite, though, is each night when she gets to snuggle with her Daddy, her blankie, and her stuffed penguin, as you both watch The Penguins of Madagascar.

This was how Anna and Travis finished out Father's Day 2011.
