Dear Mother Nature...

Please repeat!

The weather was absolutely GORGEOUS yesterday! Can I place an order with Mother Nature for blue skies and 75 degree temperatures for the next 6 months? That is my definition of perfect weather. Not too hot, not too cold. Anna and I spent the whole day outside!

I needed to get out and get some exercise, so we packed up the new jogging stroller and headed to Wheeler Farm. We walked the trails around the farm for a while, enjoying the sunny day. My new stroller has an iPod attachment, and during the walk Anna insisted on playing Old Macdonald (her favorite song) over and over again. After about 45 minutes, we headed over to see the animals. Anna correctly identified them all by name and sound. We would walk up to the little calf, and she would say "Hi!...baby...cow...moo" and then say "Buh bye" when we walked to the next animal. Then came "Hi!...horsie...neigh.....buh bye!" When we walked up to the pigs, she plugged her nose and said "P.U. Stinky piggies". When we walked over to watch the ducks for a while, she noticed one in particular that had turned his bill and buried it in the feathers on his back. She looked at me, looked back at the duck, and said, "Duckie...tired...nap." Too cute!

I'm so glad that my baby girl loves animals! I knew Wheeler Farm would be a hit. There weren't very many baby animals (just a calf and a baby goat), so we may have to go back soon. Anybody want to join us?

After Wheeler Farm, we headed to the park to play on the playground for a while. Anna loves the slides, and is getting braver each and every time. Then we headed home and played out in the front yard, where she was happy as a clam playing Ring around the Rosies as well as her own version of soccer. I finally dragged Anna inside at 8:30 pm...but she was not very happy about it. I guess we will have to hope for many more nice days to come!

I miss Wheeler farm! There isn't anything like it here in Phoenix. Sounds like you have a blast with your little one. She is so cute. Glad I found you.
