Although it was freezing cold this past weekend, we managed to have a quick outdoor Easter egg hunt for Anna. We had to do it in the front yard, since the back yard was still covered in a blanket of snow. Her face lit up when she saw the eggs (they weren't really that hidden!).
At first she didn't quite know what to do with them. I tried to show her how to put them in the basket, but Miss Independent would not let me come near her new treasures. She refused to gather them in the basket, choosing instead to line them up in the flower bed. Go figure.
She liked carrying around the basket. She just didn't like putting her eggs in it. Silly baby.
Anna found an egg with her beloved "Emmas" in it.

Every egg that I would put in the basket, she would quickly take out and line it back up with the others. (And yes, I am guilty of being in my jammies all day. I worked all night long.)
On Easter morning, this is the spread that Anna woke up to. Are we sure that the Easter bunny came by, or was it Santa?? Between both grandmas and I, she is a spoiled child! The first thing Anna found was the chocolate bunny. She had it unwrapped and in her mouth in record time!
I have a funny story about Anna's cute Easter dress. I bought this on clearance at Gymboree about 5 years ago. Yes, you read that right - before I was even married. I couldn't bear to give it away as a baby gift...I liked it too much. So I kept it. It just so happens that the dress, sweater, hat and matching socks (that Anna couldn't wear because it was too cold) and even the matching sandals all fit Anna perfectly right now!
She wouldn't leave the hat on for more than 5 minutes, so we had to do some cute piggies, of course.

I love the dress on her...so cute! I think you are in trouble with the OCD thing. Good thing her mom handles it fine:)
she is so dang cute! I need you to tell me how to change the fonts on the blog... I have some super adorable computer fonts that I want to use, but don't know how t o get them on my blog! Any suggestions?!?!
