I need central air!!

In the past week Utah has gone from 50 degrees to 90 degrees. Seriously?? What happened to spring and the perfect 70-75 degree weather? We have had to endure 84 degree temperatures inside the house for the past 2 days. I am definitely not like my mom and my brother that enjoy that Arizona-type weather.

We are planning on having central A/C installed this year with our tax return, but the problem is that our furnace is 35 years old and needs to be replaced as well, and there is all this duct work that needs to be done. We haven't found anyone who can install both for under $8000. Yes, you read that right. $8000 flippin' dollars. Geez...our tax return was good, but not that good. We could turn on the swamp cooler until we get central air, but I would prefer not to, simply because I just barely cleaned my house and the swamp cooler will blow massive amounts of dirt and dust out in the first few days. I don't need my daughter exposed to that crap. I also am SO done with soggy stale food and sticky walls due to the moisture a swamp cooler brings. So I will have to endure the heat. Hopefully it will cool down a little...

Anna has been a little cranky for the past week. She FINALLY cut her 2nd tooth - this one really struggled to break through. Mother Nature cranking up the heat didn't make things any better...she is not a fan. For those of you who know her, she is normally a hot baby anyway. The past 2 afternoons I have ended up stripping her down to a diaper and giving her ice cold apple juice or a popsicle. She was perfectly okay with that plan!

Since it wouldn't be normal for me to post without pictures, here are a few from the last week. Here are my 3 babies, Anna, Lily and Daisy. Daddy was mowing the lawn and all 3 lined up at the front door to watch. I love this picture!

This picture is for my brother Brandon. He gave Anna this "iPood" onesie while I was in the hospital before she was born. It finally fits! I tried really hard to get her to look at the camera, but she is fascinated by grass.
Look out Daisy...mischievous baby on the loose...(Anna pulls Daisy's fur all the time. I do not feel sorry for Daisy, though. She is the one consistantly positioning herself within Anna's grasp. You don't see Lily anywhere near, do you? She is the smart one.)I buy her toys - books, rattles, stuffed animals, etc. - but her favorite things to chew on are shoes and shoelaces. She is entertained by a shoelace for hours. That is probably due to her love for hoodie strings...that's all I wear in the winter and she was constantly chewing on the strings. My cute little Anna bug...oh I love how fun she is right now!

I think you need to come visit so Zander and Anna can have a play date.

That is why I insisted on central air when we built our house. I just hate swamp coolers! If you need to escape the heat, give me a call!!

Also, your puppy Daisy looks EXACTLY like my puppy Sam!! I doubt it's true, but let's pretend that they're brother and sister!! LOL
