Have you missed me??

I don't know if anyone really reads my blog, but if you do, you might have noticed I have been absent for a while...I haven't posted craft stuff for ages!! Work has been consuming all of my time. For those of you who know anything about pediatrics, the winter season is usually our busiest time of the year, and we usually have somewhat of a lull in how many kids are hospitalized in the spring and fall. Not so this year. We haven't slowed down whatsoever, and winter season is right around the corner. The nursing shortage is hitting us hard this year!! Anyway, I have been working 55 hour weeks and haven't had time for anything, so you can see why the 3 days in a row I had off this weekend were glorious!

I finally had time to finish a 9x9 scrapbook that I was working on for a coworker. She paid me to do the scrapbook so that she could give it away as a Christmas present to her in-laws. I think it turned out really cute! I will post a slide show in the next post.

I also had a little time to play with my new free stamp set "Time Well Spent" from Stampin' Up! The set is adorable!!

Here is the card I made with the new set. I used wild wasabi, purely pomegranate and so saffron, as well as the cutie pie DP.
