All About the Details

Wow...it's already Thursday?? Where did the week go. Time flies when you're working 12 hour graveyard shifts. Something about that seems so wrong...

Anyway, I had my favorite visitor to my front door yesterday. I love that man in a big brown truck that brings me treasures!!! In my lovely Stampin' Up box was a few essentials and a few items from the holiday mini catalog. I couldn't help myself. I had to PLAY!! I made these cards rather quickly, since I had a baby shower to attend, but I think they turned out so cute! Super simple, too, which is usually unlike me. Obviously they are the same layout, just different colors. I can't decide which one I like better. (I just might use these as my Christmas cards this year, so you may have to pretend that you have never seen them before!)

Here is the recipe for the cards:
Stamps: Season of Joy (Holiday mini catalog), So Swirly Jumbo wheel (rolled in white craft ink and heat set)
Ink: bashful blue, chocolate chip for the 1st card; always artichoke and purely pomegranate for the 2nd
Accessories: the absolutely luscious satin ribbon from the holiday mini (available in purely pomegranate and chocolate chip)

Well, I am off to work again tonight, and then I get to prepare...I am demonstrating a S.U. party this weekend and it has been a while...
