I can't believe that my baby is 2 months old today! She had her well baby check up this morning. She is up to 8 pounds 14 ounces, and she is 20.5 inches long! She is finally on the growth charts - the 9th percentile for weight and the 2nd percentile for height. Maybe she will end up being short like her mama. Anna is doing fabulous, and I don't have to take her in again until she is 4 months old. She is just starting to have a few smiles here and there, but she will be a little behind a normal 2 month old due to the fact that she was a preemie. Dr. Erickson was great to remind me of this, since I get a little antsy...all of my friends' babies are a little ahead of her. Anyway, Anna had to get her first set of immunizations today. This is how she felt about her shots.

No, honestly, she did better than I did. She screamed for a minute and then settled down, but I was a blubbering mess. I can give shots to my patients, and I am even fine receiving shots, but I have decided that I don't like to watch my baby girl get them! I thought I would be tough. Newsflash: I'm not tough.
Trav and I will be spending Thanksgiving day this year with his family, so my mom had an early Thanksgiving dinner with all of the trimmings on Sunday. It was phenomenal as always. Thanks mom! My brother Brandon was here from Phoenix, making it the first "Thanksgiving" that all of us have been together in years. We have gained a few family members since our last family photo, so we took a few this weekend. I love how it turned out!! From left: my brother Cody and his wife Laci, my brothers Justin and Brandon (with the Maggie dog!), my cute mom and dad, and Trav and I with Anna.

Here is Anna showing off her beautiful "chub". Look at that cute double chin and those totally kissable cheeks!

Anna got to meet her uncle Brandon for the first time this past weekend! He did a great job as a babysitter.

Anna enjoying some more quality uncle time with Cody.

The weekend was a great respite for me also. Laci, my mom and my brothers were fighting over who got to hold Anna, so I got a little bit of a break. Anna has been very cranky for the past week, so it was great to have some help. I love my wonderful family!
I hope everyone has a fabulous Thanksgiving!
