Happy Easter!

What a beautiful Easter sunday! Gorgeous blue skies, a light breeze, even fairly warm temperatures. Trav has been outside planting strawberries, a tomato plant, and a few flowers and also mulching all of our flower beds. Too bad I had to sleep the day away. Tonight will be my 4th shift in a row! I haven't done 3 in a row for a year, let alone 4. Damn mandatory winter extra shift. Needless to say I am tired. After tonight I have a week and a half off, though, so it will all be worth it!

Why do I have vacation time? Well, Briana, Mandy and I will be loading the 3 babies in a minivan and heading on a LONG drive to Nebraska to watch the University of Utah gymnastics team WIN (hopefully) a national championship. We will be meeting Michelle, baby Brylee and Wendy-they are flying there-so we will have all 4 babies at nationals. Are we crazy to be driving with the babies? Probably. We are hoping to leave Tuesday night so that the babies will sleep most of the way. I'm sure that trek will be worthy of a few posts...so stay tuned!

I want to send a Happy Easter wish to my sweet Anna. Since I had to work 4 in a row, my mom offered (okay, begged!) to take her for the weekend, so she picked her up on Thursday and I won't get to see her until tomorrow afternoon. It's a good thing that I trust my mom explicitly and that I know that Anna is getting a bunch of loves because otherwise I think I might have a breakdown!! I miss my Anna bug!

Do you want to know one of the saddest things (for me) about Anna being away this weekend? She learned how to sit up. Not that sitting up is a bad thing...but I have been "practicing" with her for weeks now and she always tips over. Not today! She is sitting up like a champ for my mom and dad. Check out her cute pictures in her Easter dress! *Pictures courtesy of my brother. Thanks, JJ!!

Look how big I am...sitting up all by myself!!

Loving on an Easter basket! Mmmm...ceramic eggs...

All dressed up for church with grandpa!
I hope everyone has a fantastic Easter! I might not be able to post until we get back from Nationals, so have a great week! Keep your fingers crossed for our Utes!
